Working with complex Grief – Videos 019, 020 and 021 make learning easy (December 2021)

By early December all three of the videos on Complex Grief will be online, showing how to address the trauma, present triggers and consequential losses associated with the loss of a loved one, and future fears and concerns.

Because the entire process is split into three short videos, you don’t have to master the entire ‘jigsaw’ of complex grief before beginning work with your clients – start with Video 019 which focuses on the trauma, move onto 020 when you are ready to work with present triggers and losses, and then onto 021 when looking to the future.

When a client’s grief has become complex i.e. deviating from the norm in either the time or intensity of specific or general symptoms of grief and/or the level of impairment in social, occupational, or other areas of life.

How to use EMDR to release the complex nature of stuck or distorted grief – the first phase in a three-phase process to address Complex grief. Also, how Narrative therapy provides a ‘bird’s eye’ picture of how the three phases work together.
