Gateway is proudly owned by Trauma Aid UK (Humanitarian Assistance Programme HAP-UK).
Every subscription contributes directly to their humanitarian work, funding EMDR training for therapists in underserved communities and widening access to effective trauma treatment around the world.
EMDR Gateway
EMDR Gateway offers continued learning and support for therapists who have completed their foundational EMDR training.
Through concise video demonstrations and expert-led guidance, practitioners and supervisors can strengthen their skills and grow in confidence.
Sample Video
Each video in this EMDR training archive provides a clear, practical guide to applying specific therapeutic techniques across key categories including Dissociation, Blocked Processing, Standard Protocol & Adaptations, Complex PTSD, Creating Resources, and Children.
Every video demonstrates what the approach is used for, followed by a real-life role play showing the protocol in action with a client.
This is supported by concise key takeaways, a clear indication of the video length (e.g. 16:15 minutes), and easy navigation to a dedicated “Take-away” section.
Each module concludes with a written wrap-up and an aide mémoire: a step-by-step, copy-and-paste guide to using the protocol, making the content immediately usable in clinical practice.
The Ethos and Work of Trauma Aid UK
Trauma Aid UK is a charity providing EMDR training to mental health professionals in areas of the world where populations are traumatised by conflict, natural disaster and other mass trauma.
Our philosophy is “teach others how to fish”. Our goal is for EMDR to be established and sustained by trained clinicians in their own countries or regions creating national and regional EMDR Associations.
This is an important question for EMDR therapists because so many people who have experienced trauma develop chronic pain symptoms. Then, many therapists, EMDR or others, don’t feel confident in dealing with pain. When clients believe that their therapist is confident, pain relief is more marked.
